About

I've spent the last ten-plus years managing software projects, and the fifteen before that writing the code myself — which means I've sat on both sides of the table long enough to know what actually gets a release out the door.

I lived in Japan for twenty years, which shaped the way I work: precise, patient, and allergic to shortcuts that create rework later. Outside of delivery plans and pull requests, you'll usually find me on a futsal court or somewhere on a mountain, snowboarding.

This page exists purely to say hello and show what I do — I'm currently employed and not looking for new roles.

What I do

Delivery, and the code behind it

Delivery

Running projects end to end — scoping, planning, and keeping cross-functional teams aligned from kickoff to release.

Project Delivery Agile Leadership Stakeholder Management

Build

Still hands-on. I build and ship applications myself, front to back.

Track record

What I've shipped

Over the years I've delivered web apps, desktop apps, and pretty much everything in between — always aimed at the same outcome: a satisfied client on the other end.

Off the clock

Japan, futsal, and the mountain

20 years in Japan

Two decades living and working there — it's where my approach to craft and patience comes from.

Futsal

Weekly games, no exceptions — the closest thing I have to a standing meeting I never skip.

Snowboarding

Chasing good snow whenever the season allows it.
